Last night I stayed in because I was tired and didn't feel like going out and drinking.
In Minnesota I would have felt ok with that decision and, frankly, I probably would have been able to trick a friend to stay in with me. This is easier in Minnesota, where most of your time is spent at potlucks and watching movies anyways.
But here, in The Greatest City On Earth Forever, it feels cheap. Who am I to stay indoors, when some poor gay child in Montana is wishing they were here, seeing musicals? Who am I to be alone, when there are 7 million friends waiting for me outside the door? A chump, that's who.
