It is my roommates birthday today and while I have not yet figured out what to do for him, I have to say, I am a lucky lady.
We went through a tiny, minuscule rought patch at first, working out our differences and also because we were both stressed from the move. But since then it has been smooth sailing.
He's a perfect roommate for me--we both give each other our own space, we tell stories while we cook our food, he bakes me pies, and cleaning is basically shared. We haven't had to have any talks about what to do as roommates, because we basically get along just fine as is.
What I am saying is, my roommate is a swell guy.
