Day #5

I bought clothes today.

I buy clothes really rarely, because I am a fashion hobo and because I am poor. I tend to stick to the basics because, well, I know what works. This makes me feel reasonably ok when I leave the house, but frankly the trendy and fashionable young ladies run this city and I am not one of them. Not by a long shot.

So I bought clothes and honestly, what I really want is a vest. I know. But I want one anyway. And I want a very specific kind of vest and I was having no luck, which is always ridiculous and depressing, to want something you didn't care about a day ago and then to be denied it.

What was worse is that I found it in the wrong size. I asked many sales people, most of who were unhelpful, and it seemed that the vest was not to be. "Oh well," I thought "there's always there online store."

Except. Except it's not there. It's like I found the only vest they ever made and it doesn't exist. It's so sad, so frustrating, even though it's so petty.

I got a really cute coat, though. With toggles.
